How do I create a new Windows Image?
Instructions to create a Windows image
Setup: Have the Windows machine you want to use as your image open, and already booted to Windows
Launch Sysprep
2. Sysprep can be found at C: Windos/System32/Sysprep
Once in the Sysprep folder, run sysprep.exe
2) In the Sysprep Dialogue
Check the “Generalize” Box
Select “Reboot”
Click OK
If successful, you will see this window with a progress bar appear.
3) Wait for the machine to shutdown and FULLY reboot. If successful, the machine will immediately boot into the Administrator account. In addition, the Sysprep dialogue will already be open
4) (Optional, but recommended) From Audit Mode, you can remove any accounts that were created while setting up Windows.
To delete accounts:
Open Settings
Select Accounts
Select Other users
For each user you want to remove, select the user, and click “Remove”
Select “Delete account and data”
6) Set Sysprep

Select “Enter System Out-of-Box Experience (OOBE)”

Check the “Generalize” Box

Select “Shutdown”
d) Press OK, and wait for Windows to shut down
IMPORTANT: After this step, do *NOT* boot into Windows again, or you will need to repeat steps 1-6.
