Remote Wipe From Everywhere Within Your Network

Explanation of Erasure Feature

Remote Wipe From Everywhere Within Your Network

This feature makes it possible to wipe and test devices such as PCs, laptops, tablets, and servers. Regardless if they have a built-in display or not, technicians can manage the wiping and testing from one location. By booting all the machines to the remote wipe console, technicians are able to quickly wipe and test equipment without having to connect a monitor to each device.

The Remote Wipe feature has been developed to allow technicians to connect many devices and wipe and test them simultaneously without having to move to each machine. Simply connect any number of devices via Ethernet and book them to WipeOS. The technician can then manage all of the wiping and testing from a single location.

Identifying chassis for loose drives

This feature has also been used to identify and manage the wiping of loose drives as well. Once the array has been populated with drives it is ready for remote wipe. A technician can manage multiple machines and decide to wipe using different methods on each client.

Computers that are renamed in WipeOS will keep that name moving forward through the process. The renaming process changes how WipeOS recognizes the IT associated with that machine.
