The wipe daemon status in the footer is actually a button.
If you click on it, it says this:
1) If the wipe daemon says "warning", it is taking an unusually long time to talk to the daemon.
2) If it is "red and blinking", then the wipe daemon has stopped. That means you may have lost the current wipes. (please explain what is meant by lost)
*If it is blinking, Support has been notified. Please leave this machine online and plugged in.
3) If the status is "WIPE DAMEON: OFFLINE", but the wipes are continuing to update, then this is a graphical glitch, and the wipes are progressing.
